Well! It's been a busy week here in duston
ward with my boy Elder Lindsey. We had a sweet start to the week and found some
cool people. We were able to drive into London on Wednesday and it was a good
time. Haha it's crazy driving here. A lot of the time they don't light the
motor ways so it's like driving when it's pitch dark outside and it's crazy.
But we had lots of fun. We stayed in the Britannia flat like always and it was
sweet to see elder Leone again. He is doing well. It's always fun to talk about
the good old memories we had together back in slc on the weekends hahaha we
have some good laughs. But the meetings here super super good. President
Aldridge and his wife came and shared a few thoughts. It was cool because he is
sister Stevens brother and he was the mission president here from 1997-2000.
When grandmother and Grandfather were in the south mission!!!!! Hahaha it was funny, they said they had just gone out to dinner with them a few weeks
ago.

We had zone meeting on Friday and it was a
solid time. It was super powerful and we all learned tons and tons. The spirit
was super strong and we came up with some sweet goals and plans to help finding
rise in the zone. We had some really cool things happen this last month and
this last transfer so we were really really happy. Every missionary was
just super super happy and people are so lovely and they are all
progressing so well in the gospel and they are just great. So we were super
super happy about that.
We saw some cool miracles on Saturday. We
didn't have much time to find this week until the end of the day on Saturday
and while we were finding we literally felt that the Lord was placing people in
our specific path for a specific reason. Every person we stopped seemed
interested and we had some really cool conversations. It was just such a sweet
moment to be a part of.
The Lords Hand
This week I really saw the Lords Hand in our
ability to find some really prepared people on Saturday. Every person we talked
to seemed to be interested, but really interested. They showed true desires to
follow Christ so it was just so amazing. I also saw the Lords Hand this week J and K. K had told us he wouldn't be able to come to church so
we were super super bummed. But right before church started we see him come
inside with the biggest smile on his face!!!! He said he had felt he needed to
come and took a taxi all the way to church because he had loaned his car to a
friend!!! He has seriously grown so much. He is a pure example of the
conversion power of the Book of Mormon. I've also seen the Lords Hand this week
in J. We were teaching him the last few points in lesson 2. He has such a
love for the plan of salvation. He talked about how much he loved the thought
that he could live with our Father in Heaven again. He expressed such gratitude
for the plan. I saw the Lords Hand in all of these experiences also playing
such a major role in my conversion as well. I feel that every time I teach I
come to have such a love for the gospel that I cannot describe. I love
it.
Jacob finally bought a winter coat! |
