So this week wasn't as fast as last week.
Not much has happened, just another day out In the promised land of Bedford
haha. I've almost been in the field a Month. It feels like 3 months but it's
whatever haha.
So this week we basically just tracked in the
rain and visited less actives. There's not much more you can do when you don't
have lessons to teach. We didn't have much luck out tracking, hahaha most
people just say it's raining you idiots, get out of here you Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Haha lots of people think we are JWs. We try to tell them we aren't but the
door is already shut haha. So this week we had a met with P.! We talked for a
while because you can't have a short conversation with P. We talked a lot
about the plan of salvation and kind of where we came from, what we are doing,
and just what gods plan is for us. He seemed to like it. The best part is that
we invited him to church and he came! Last week we asked if he wanted to come
and he straight up said no. It was cool to see his change of heart. So P came to church and really liked it!!!
So we met with G and she told us that
she didn't want to be wasting our time, she said she is really busy and that
she doesn't know how much time she has to meet with us. We gave a spiritual
lesson that kind of brought her hopes up which is good but she still seemed a
little unpredictable. It's a bummer that she thinks she is wasting our time
when all we do for two years is teach and find. It's just frustrating. I hope
she has a change of heart. She is an awesome lady, and has great
potential.
On Thursday to Friday I went on an
exchange with the zone leaders. I went to North Hampton with Elder E. It
was a great work over. He taught me a lot and it was good just being able to
talk to someone that you can relate to really easily. We didn't have much success, but we went
finding in a park for a while and talked to a few people. But I really did
learn a lot from him and that's most important. He's a great leader that I look
up to. Oh and we woke up at 5:30 to lift in the morning haha he has
pre work out so I took some of that and it didn't do anything so I was pretty
tired. But it felt good doing a full workout for once. I hope Ben and Will are
lifting at home! I heard Ben is even bigger than when I left... What the
heck!
Lords hand:
I have seen the Lord’s hand every day on my
mission so far. But most of all this week I have seen it in P and his
willingness to come to church. It's great to see his change of heart and his
willingness to progress.
I also have seen the lord’s hand in the
beautiful sunsets the last few nights and the beautiful sunrise in the
mornings. It cheers me up and I am grateful for all that he has created.
Especially the Wasatch Mountains and the snow haha.
I love you all. You are the best. I pray for
you.
